About the company
It was founded in Viseu in 1984 and started out building roads, from earthworks to paving. In the 1990s it expanded into basic sanitation works and, in 2000, now as a public limited company, it also moved into building construction: buildings, industrial halls and turnkey projects.
In 2019 IMPIC granted it the class 9 construction licence, the top class, which allows it to carry out works of any size in Portugal and abroad. Its quality management has been certified by APCER (NP EN ISO 9001) since 2005.
Embeiral Construction brings together several group companies: Socibeiral (ready-mixed concrete, with 5 production centres), Inerbeiral (aggregates and bituminous mixes), Embeiral Wood (carpentry and timber structures), Embeiral Steel (steel structures) and Embeiral Técnica (building services and renewable energy).
