Braga-based group working in engineering and construction, the environment, renewable energy and telecommunications. It grew out of the Silva Teixeira family's aggregate quarrying.
About the company
The Silva Teixeira family's business began in the 1970s with aggregate quarrying; it supplied materials for the construction of the Estádio 1.º de Maio, in Braga. In 1985, Domingos da Silva Teixeira & Filhos, Lda. was incorporated.
Today dstgroup is headquartered on a campus in Palmeira, Braga, and works in engineering and construction, the environment, renewable energy and telecommunications. Its works include the new EDP headquarters in Lisbon, designed by the architect Alejandro Aravena, and the Miniclip and PHC Software headquarters at Taguspark.
On its campus it is building the LivingLab, a project of modular construction solutions that was shown in Norman Foster's exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, in Paris. It was recognised as a TOP Employer in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
